Meet Your Presenters:

Helen Waldorf

Helen is the Vice Chair of ASTM Committee E50 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and Corrective Action and Interim Chair of E50.07. She has worked in environmental assessment, enforcement and clean up for over 40 years, including the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.  She now does compliance training for UMass Lowell. Her degrees are in biology, forest science and public administration from Rice, Yale and Harvard Universities, respectively. 

Paul Sonnenfeld

Paul is a Safety, Health, and Environmental professional with over 40 years of occupational health, industrial hygiene, site investigation and characterization, risk-based corrective action, ecological risk assessments, and environmental permitting experience in both the public and private sectors. He has developed emergency response plans and consolidated contingency plans for Department of Defense installations, power plants, utilities, schools, and a broad spectrum of manufacturing plants. He is an active member of ASTM Committees E34 on Occupational Health and Safety; E50 on Environmental Risk Management; E54 on Homeland Security Applications; and E64 on Stormwater Management.
